New commenting section…

Posted on July 28, 2008. Filed under: Uncategorized |

Hello folks,

Just a note to encourage everyone to start posting comments on stories on our newly redesigned Web site, www.ridgecrestca.com. We’ll be phasing this blog out over the next few weeks in order to better integrate with our new site, but we want everyone to feel free to visit and start some conversation over there.

Thanks so much for your interest.

Well Fred, why don’t you give us a conversation starter?

And my dad is rather proud of me, but won’t help get me a job. Sorry to disappoint. ;)

Another day, another boring DI. Some writing about an earthquake bump and taxes. Mechanically the DI rates high but it has no soul,no connection to the community. Did you know there’s elderly people living alone in Ridgecrest and surrounding region that’re forced to let their pets, their only companions die because they can’t afford ridiculously expensive vet bills? There’s people here being farmed by the medical community like Soylent Green forced to undergo seemingly nonending, needless and painful medical testing.
Speak out about this,DI. Don’t be just a tool ohe Establishment. Show the locals you’ve got some huevos.

I have not found the new blog site can I
have some instructions.

Fred, They would be wrong to proof contributor’s submissions. Doncha know on the net a lotta stuff is written to confound spell checks and leave them whimpering in the dust? LOL. Cya later! :)

blfrog, go to the online version of the DI. Find the story you have something to say about and scroll down and there is the place to write your comment. The letters to the editor section shows a perfect example. (huggs to my pal and Lennie)
